I use all three software packages everyday. Although home versions of photo software can be useful. To enable you as an artist to create digital pictures and images to email

to potential clients you really need to have at least Adobe Photoshop.

Most publishers these days will require you to scan and manipulate your pictures before sending.

80% of my work load is now done through these programs.
